Several thousand New York City uniformed and plain clothes officers will patrol the city this weekend.

7,000 closed circuit security cameras will be closely watched.

Air and water patrol will be equipped with radiation detection.

Police officers will also be equipped with special radiation detection monitors to be put on their belts to detect for dirty bombs.
