A member of the notorious Westboro Baptist Church told The Daily Caller during the Kansasย Republican caucus that she would not be voting for Donald Trump because of his โ€œfringeโ€ views.

Lee Ann Phelps,ย the daughter-in-law of Westboro Baptist Church founderย Fred Phelps, was protesting outside of the Wichita caucus site when she was approached by the Callerโ€™sย Chuck Ross.

When asked her thoughts about Trump, the woman known for holding up signs reading โ€œGod Hates Fagsโ€ responded that he was too far out of the mainstream.

โ€œHeโ€™s sort of fringe,โ€ she told Ross, while standing next to her child and his โ€œAmerica is Doomedโ€ sign.

She continued to say that she didnโ€™t consider Trump โ€œfringeโ€ on gay issues, but declined to elaborate which issues she was concerned about.

Phelps, a registered Democrat, said she couldnโ€™t rule out voting forย Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.
