People typically crash into deer, not the other way around. For one man in Canada, the unthinkable happened when a deer actually ran straight into him and knocked him down.
The bizarre incident happened on April Fools’ Day as 25-year-old Cary McCook was getting out of a car. Oh, the irony!
McCook told CBC Radio that people didn’t believe him at first, because after all, it did happen on April 1. But surveillance cameras captured the entire thing. In the video, McCook doesn’t see the deer coming until it’s too late. The animal head-butts him and he falls to the ground. Luckily, he’s able to get back up without any serious injuries.
