Kory Langhofer, the counsel to Trump for America, has accused Robert Mueller of illegally obtaining documents and emails from the Trump transition team. Langhofer said that Mueller illegally obtained the documents from the GSA, which never owned them. The GSA (General Services Administration) supplies space for the transition teams for incoming presidents. Included in the ill gotten booty was privileged documents between lawyers and clients and between the president elect and his transition team which also includes privileged information.
Fox News has obtained a copy of a letter sent from Langhofer to the House and Senate Committees and charges career staffers illegally handed over the material to the special persecutor, Robert Mueller and that Mueller’s team used the materials extensively (And still didn’t find anything) and leaked some of it to the press. It is a blatant attempt to circumvent the 4th Amendment to the constitution. No law enforcement agency in America has the right to seize lawyer/client privileged material. Whoever turned over that material should see the inside of a jail cell for a long time to come. Also those on Mueller’s team and even Mueller himself should be tried for any illegal use of that same material.
Langhofer said the special counsel’s office received “tens of thousands of emails” from the GSA as well as certain laptops and cell phones containing privileged materials.
The transition attorney said they discovered the “unauthorized disclosures” by the GSA on December 12th and 13th and raised concerns with the special counsel’s office.
“We understand that the special counsel’s office has subsequently made extensive use of the materials it obtained from the GSA, including materials that are susceptible to privilege claims,” Langhofer writes.
Trump for America is the nonprofit organization that facilitated the transition between former President Barack Obama to President Trump.
The GSA, an agency of the United States government, provided the transition team with office space and hosted its email servers.
Sarah Sanders, the WH spokeswoman said that the administration would continue to cooperate with the special counsel.
Neither the Senate Homeland Security and House Oversight Committees. nor the special counsel’s office had a comment to make at this time.
