Rep Jim Jordan: Committee to Subpoena Anti-Trump Investigators

Rep Jim Jordan says House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte has assured him that the committee will subpoena FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, lawyer Lisa Page, and demoted Justice Department official Bruce Ohr along with his wife and former Fusion GPS employee Nellie Ohr . If they follow through, you can expect fireworks to be on display. Especially from the Democrats who insisted that the DOJ Inspector General investigate anti-Hillary people in the FBI. But as it turned out, they were caught in a trap of their own making.

The IG did not find any evidence of any anti_Hillary sentiments but he found an entire treasure trove of anti-Trump investigators and all of them on Mueller’s team. One of the anti-Trumper’s wives worked on the Trump dossier for Fusion GPS, while her husband attended what was supposed to be Hillary’s coronation. He also wrote a gushy letter to Sally Yates over her refusal to follow the president’s immigration travel ban. The Supreme Court upheld the travel ban and Yates was summarily fired.

The Democrats have been complaining that Republicans have been trying to discredit Mueller’s investigation, when in reality Mueller ha done that all by himself.

POLITICO reports:

A Republican on the House judiciary committee said Saturday he’s gotten a commitment from committee chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) to subpoena top officials at the FBI and Justice Department in their ongoing inquiry into claims of bias against President Donald Trump.

Republicans have zeroed in on deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, top counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, FBI attorney Lisa Page, former associate deputy attorney general Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie, who reportedly worked for Fusion GPS, the firm that compiled opposition research on Trump in 2016.

“Chairman Goodlatte has told us he is going to subpoena those individuals,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), in an appearance on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.”

I wonder how many of them will plead the fifth?
