Update: Russian sources have recaptured Palmyra.
Incoming reports are still conflicting, but even SAA sources state that Palmyra has fallen to IS again.
The aerial attacks of yesterday were obviously expected.
This morning IS launched an even more powerful attack on Palmyra.
