We all have a passion that we aim to pursue in our lives. Similarly, a body modification enthusiast, Dragon Girl spent about $120,000 to transform her look from head to toe. She broke down into tears when she applied the foundation to cover up her tattoos to see what she looked like before getting inked.
Amber Luke, 25, recently shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories under the caption “body modification is the ultimate form of self-expression.” She also has a section in her Instagram account dedicated to before and after photos of her surgeries, including breast augmentation and a butt enhancement.
Among other things, Luke has a split tongue, lip tattoo, gauged ears, tattoos on nearly every part of her body, and has even tattooed the sclera (whites of her eyes) blue.
Luke, from Queensland, spent about $50,000 to get about 600 tattoos on her body. She also got blue ink injected into her eyeballs which took a 40-minute procedure. And this left her blind for about three weeks.
“I can’t even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like [the tattoo artist] grabbed 10 shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye,” she told Barcroft TV. “That happened four times per eye, that was pretty brutal. Unfortunately, my artist went too deep into my eyeball. If your eyeball procedure’s done correctly, you’re not supposed to go blind at all. I was blind for three weeks. That was pretty brutal.”
The dragon girl further revealed that she even spent $70,000 on extreme body modifications. These include a tongue split, breast augmentation, cheek and lip fillers, pointed implants placed in her ears, and a Brazilian butt lift.
She posted another photo of her 18-year-old self, rocking a bare face and quotes along her ribs.
“This was me at 18 years old. I was so catatonically depressed, suicidal and was a walking dead girl. I was numb. I hated myself majority of the time – that hatred ran deep. It tormented me,” she captioned the post. “Now, I’ve totally transformed myself into someone I’m proud of being. I’m a strong woman who knows exactly what she wants and who she is.”
When Luke was 16, the tattoos fascinated her. And this is what led her to body modification. The dragon girl believes that there’s no fun in living a boring life. And one should always try new things in life. Embarking on her body transformation, she went under the knife to modify her tongue split and get ‘pointy’ ears, as well as breast implants.
Even we believe that one should do what he or she loves. Instead of thinking about others, love yourself. Staying happy should be the only goal of our lives.
