Bradley Rex Jordan recently pleaded guilty to two charges of misconduct in office for a traffic stop in South Carolina in which he offered to dismiss a traffic citation if the woman he had stopped would lift up her shirt.
Jordan, a former police officer in the small town of Aynor, South Carolina was first charged in connection with an incident in May of 2013 where he made the offer. Then when the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) conducted an investigation it was discovered that he made the same proposition in June of 2012 as well.
Needless to say Jordan is no longer an officer of the law with the Aynor Police Department. Said Stephen Grooms of the Horry County Solicitor’s Office “There will be enough checks and balances in place with SLED and the police academy that he will never be in law enforcement again…The judge said his career in law enforcement is over.”.
